Can we use this for just one department without the whole university adopting it?
Yes. Studymate UMS can run for a single faculty or department independently. Your lecturers manage their own courses, upload content, and enter grades. Students register, select their courses, and access everything from their dashboard. If the institution decides to adopt it fully later, everything carries over — enrolments, grades, attendance, all of it.
How do lecturers enter results?
The same way your current system works — Test 1, Test 2, Test 3, and Exam. Lecturers enter scores directly in an editable table or upload via Excel. Totals, letter grades, and GPAs compute automatically. Results stay in draft until the lecturer publishes, and students see the breakdown the moment they're released.
Can students access course materials and take tests through the platform?
Yes. Lecturers upload lesson notes, recorded video lectures, and schedule live classes. Students take Continuous Assessments and CBTs directly on the platform — timed, auto-graded, with results available immediately or when the lecturer chooses to publish. Everything is organised by course and semester.
What if the university already has a portal?
